The Akyra was my first stop of a two month trip around Southeast Asia. Their new yoga and breakfast package is great for yogis and wellness travellers who want to keep up their practice away from home. You can still find peace and calm in Bangkok and the rooftop provides a refreshing escape to relax and cool down in the pool. You will also catch a stunning sunset which you can enjoy with a healthy juice or cocktail. Rooms are modern and stylish. Loved the beds which are super comfy with luxurious bed sheets. Would highly recommend the Akyra for a short stay in a fantastic location, still in the heart of Bangkok yet away from the main road and the crazy traffic.

Very nice hotel near Sukhumvit road. There are some German restaurants near the hotel and lots of food possibility. For breakfast you get a menu and can decide between two meals and eat from a little buffet. It is delicious! In the evening you can also eat at the rooftop. You have to try it. Its a nice atmosphere here and the pool is also nice. The rooms are really comfortable and modern. The staff is always helpful and friendly and you can sometimes see them making fun. We had a nice stay in November. Thanks for that!

Had dinner and drinks at the rooftop bar and everything was delicious. Steak was very well cooked and seasoned. Fish tacos were excellent with plenty of citrus. We loved the view and spent time taking photos of the skyline at sunset. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable and there is even a happy hour menu. Great place to escape the heat and have a bite and a drink while enjoying the view
