Traditional Italian Cold Cuts & Cheeses in Bangkok
The traditional Italian first course is made up of mouth watering cold cuts (Charcuterie) and cheeses.
Otto Italian Restaurant naturally had a difficult time in deciding what cold cuts and cheeses to feature on our menu. We decided on a traditional flavour profile as an introduction to the amazing simplicity and beauty of Italian dining.
Otto Italian Cold Cuts & Chesses
Our current menu features:
Italian Cold Cuts
Mortadella
Heat-cured pork sausage from Bologna with accents of spice and pistachio that are mellowed when cured.
Capocollo
Pork cold cut delicately spiced, slightly smoky, made from cured neck from Martinafranca, Puglia
Salame al Tartufo
A treat for special occasions in Italy with black summer truffle, their delicate aroma works magic with salame.
Pancetta Arrotolata
Cured and rolled pork belly making a delicate and sweet circle of perfection.
Italian Cheeses
Occelli al Whisky
Whisky infused cheese with barley made by Beppino Occelli cheese maker in Piedmont.
Pecorino Siciliano al Pepperoncino
Sicilian sheep’s milk hard cheese with chili flakes.
Taleggio
Soft, washed-rind cow’s cheese from Val Taleggio, Italy.
Parmigiano
Hard, cow’s milk cheese aged for 24 months or more.
One of our chef's favourite summer appetizers "Burrata e Pomodori". It’s a fresh Italian cheese made from cow’s milk together with sweet berry tomatoes. The perfect balance of fresh and rich components and we hope you love it too!
